Latest News...

2017 was a really great year for PTHS, and we officially celebrated our 30th anniversary at the Annual Dinner Meeting in October.

Did you know that the history of our last 30 years is a fascinating read?  As I worked my way through 30 years worth of Board Minutes, Newsletters, newspaper articles and pictures to gather information for the Souvenir Dinner Program, it was really very interesting to see how a small group of people grew this organization, set goals and accomplished so much year after year.

Thanks to your financial support through membership dues and donations, the generosity of local businesses and organizations, and the dedication of our members who volunteer their time and talents, we accomplished so much this past year.  We strive to be the best historical society that we can be as we preserve our local history, continue our community programs and look for new ways to make history interesting and fun.

As great as 2017 was for PTHS, that year is over and done with.  We now look forward to what we will be doing in 2018, which you’ll read about in the following pages.  Working together to achieve our goals is very rewarding and it’s so much fun, too.  Together, I know we will exceed all of our expectations again!

Kind Regards,

Gail Mangiocco

PTHS President
