About The Society
The Pennsville Township Historical Society was established on October 29, 1987. Our goal is to preserve the great history of our Township.
We have a beautiful Museum Complex that consists of 9 buildings. Our crown jewel is the riverfront Victorian Farmhouse built by Daniel Garrison around 1880. In 1991, Atlantic City Electric Company provided the structural renovations to the house, and a host of volunteers from our organization lovingly restored the farmhouse and grounds to its former glory. Our museum opened in June 1992.
